New Jersey Travel Nursing
PPR Healthcare provides no cost single occupant furnished accommodation for all New Jersey travel nursing assignments. Monthly allowances may be paid to New Jersey travel nurses if housing arrangements are not required. Moderate housing charges for furniture, additional bedrooms, linens, and house wares. PPR Healthcare arranges to pay rent, security deposit and utilities on your behalf. The travel nurse is responsible to pay all telephone, cable and security deposit expenses(for pets if applicable). New Jersey travel nurses’ check-in is generally permitted on the Friday prior to the travel nursing assignment start date. Checkout is Monday at noon following completion of the final travel nursing workweek.
New Jersey travel nurses receive competitive hourly rates while on assignment. With many New Jersey travel nursing jobs, differentials are paid for charge or supervisory roles and when placed on-call. Time-and-one-half (or double) the base hourly rate is generally paid for overtime, holiday, or callback hours. New Jersey travel nurses receive free bi-weekly direct deposit while on assignment with PPR Healthcare.
PPR Healthcare pays the premium costs for group medical, dental and term life insurance for its travel nurses. Affordable dependent care coverage is also available. Group Term Life insurance will be provided for each travel nurse regardless of medical and dental plan participation, at no cost to the nurse. PPR Healthcare provides our New Jersey travel nurses a 401k plan with company match and immediate vesting. A range of investment options is provided, giving you the opportunity to spread your investment among different categories within our plan.
Travel nursing can be a rewarding experience for nurses who have strong clinical skills and want to travel to states like New Jersey. Usually to work as a New Jersey travel nurse, you need at least one year of hospital work experience as a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse. New Jersey hospitals require travel nurses to hit the unit running with little orientation. In addition, New Jersey travel nurses may be asked to float to other units where they have work experience. |
